With between 16-21 games played so far in the 2024-2025 DCHL season it's time to do a little review with what's been happening in the league.
First off who thought the St Louis Blues would be tied for 1st in the leauge with a record of 13-3-3 If i can recall the Two Bald guys had them at the bottom of the division, yes still lots of games left to be played but wow what a turn of events, Does GM Lauzon keep what he has or try trade some of his assets to help him in the future and add some prospects to the pool which include Zayne Parekh. By the chritsmas break I predict the blues should near the bottom of there division, But i guess it goes to show you that you don't need a full team of superstars to win.
The Montreal Canadiens If there was an DCHL award for GM of the year I would nominate GM Kozlowski for it, going from being a botton 10 team last year to now being a top 10 and 2nd in the division. With adding thr likes of Jarry, Zegars, Rasmussen, Theordore, Scheifele amd some few other guys and still having a good prospect pool I gotta give a 10/10 to him,
The Vancouver Canucks when does GM Brission hit that panic button, does he wait it out and hope the sim balances out of does he sell his team and build for the future so many questions to ask. How is a powerhouse of a team doing that bad and a team like the Kraken, Leafs and Ducks doing better then them, but lets be realistic here the sim should balance out and if it doesnt they something is wrong with the sim but what though who knows.
With what all that has been going on in the sim my prediction for the 2025 Stanley Cup finals is
Philly Flyers vs the Calgary Flames with the Flyers winning the series 4-2
