The Seattle Kraken have acquired Dach and Det 1st 2025 from the Detroit Redwings for Matthew Savioe and Noah Ostlund,

Coming of a year where he didn't play due to a injury Dach is looking to make a impression in Seattle where he is projected to be the Krakens 2C and hopefully will see sometime on that 1st line.

Talking with Kirby after the trade he is looking forward to a fresh start and hopes to show the fans and organization that those injuires are in the past and hes looking to make a impact right away in Seattle and can't wait to get started.

With this trade the Kraken now hold 

Pick 3, Pick 11, Pick 13, Pick 14, Pick 27 and Pick 32 in the first round of the 2025 DCHL Draft. 

The Kraken also acquired 2025 DCHL Cup Champion Andrew Maniapane from the New Jersey Devils along with New Jerseys 2nd round pick in the 2026 DCHL draft for Alexander Holtz.

When Devils GM Stefenelli reached out to Brideau about trading for Maniapane he had nothing but good things to say about Maniapane and that he was an amazing leader in the locker room and a great teammate on and off the ice.
