Kraken Offseason Outlook
It was a successful first season in Seattle, the team sucked, resulting in some crappy lottery luck, but the team continued to stockpile assets, and enter year 2 of the elongated build. The goal of the organization continues to be looking at the longterm picture. With a strong draft last year in the books, the team looks like the foundation is strong. There will undoubtedly be many players moving around this year as well, but the goal remains to take the step in year 4, and be the next dynasty as soon as year 5. After 1 year, the goal remains intact.
Trade To Announce
Rumblings out of Seattle indicate the team has moved the 3rd overall pick as well as Philly's 1st (which we think is 28th, but apparently a draft order is a tall ask), to the Rangers in exchange for 4th overall, Calgary's 1st next year, and goaltender Strauss Mann.
The team is very high on Mann after a phenominal 2021-22 campaign that really put him on the map as a prospect. We're not happy with our goaltending prospect depth, so adding him is a huge first step in building towards the future and getting a healthy pipeline of tenders.
2022 Entry Draft
After the trade today, the team has 8 first round picks in the draft and 19 overall (at least to start), the team is well into it's draft prep, even though the day is terrible for them.

Current Roster/Availables
We have only about 30m currently in committed contracts and 3.1m in retention. We can retain on any of our assets to move them, and can middleman as well. Also willing to take bad contracts on 1-2 year deals. HMU, come with the draft picks/prospects in play.
Player wise the following can move for picks/young players. Essentially any player in the pros is readily available. Any minors players we have some sense of value on, but none are untouchable either. Lassi Thomson and Ryan McLeod probably highlight the availables, and I like McLeod more than most, so he probably doesn't go lol.
