Edmonton Oilers GM Bob Ramsey has been very happy with how his team has performed since their coaching change back on January 15th, when they hired Head coach Jim Montgomery. Since then, they have been on a terror, going 15-1-1. In that time, they have also strengthened their lineup by adding the likes of, Nicklas Backstrom, Taylor Hall, Jakub Voracek, Andreas Athanasiou, Kevin Hayes, Kevin Shattenkirk, and Nikita Zaitsev. Landing these players, saw the Oilers move out a couple 2nd round, and a few later round picks,,1 roster player in Tanner Jeannot, and a couple of prospects. Not a big loss, for what has turned this oilers team into one of the hottest teams in the league, and well on their way to compete in this seasons Playoffs. "This is an exciting run we've been on, and a very exciting time for myself, being my first year as GM for this oilers organization. We have a tough schedule coming up, against playoff bound teams which will be the true test for our club. I feel our team has what it takes to go deep into these playoffs. Time will tell."
