Boston Bruins

 What an off-season for the Bruins once again Nathan was up to his old self and completely flipped his roster around to build a completive team. Even with all the moves Nathan has made and with how tough the new look Atlantic is looking I just don’t think he has a playoff team. I only see 1 ¼ forward lines and only 1 good D pairing. It will take more than that to make the playoffs and compete in the Atlantic. The thing I think Boston will struggle the most with is his players finding chemistry with how much he trades guys in and out. I found out the hard way last year guys would struggle and instead of just moving players around in the lineup I’d just trade them away and not chemistry could be built, it wasn’t until after the deadline when I realized building chemistry does matter in the Sim.

Buffalo Sabers

Once again, the Buffalo Sabers have put themselves in a position to see the post season again. Ian was busy on draft day sending Justin Poirier, 2 2nds and some cash to Carolina for Superstar Brayden Point. Even without Point the Sabers have a top contending team now add Point into the mix the Sabers will be a tough team to play. Up and down the lineup the Sabers have a solid team there is only 2 weak spots on the roster id say is the 4^th line and the 3^rd pair.

 Detroit

Now this is a team I’m excited to see how they do this year. This forward group I’d say is top 3 in the division. The big thing that scares me about this team is the defensemen don’t get me wrong Edvinsson is a solid player, and Zellweger has lots of potential but this D core I think is what will be the deciding factor for this team.

 Florida

 Jean L is starting to make some big moves to help him with his rebuild. Will he make the playoffs this year no I don’t think he does, is he close to getting there 100%. He finally has himself a true 1C and 1D and a starting goalie. His top d pair is one of the best in my opinion. He has made the proper moves and will continue to build and will soon be very close to getting to playoff hockey. Even after trading for Werenski and Swayman Jean was able to keep some important young pieces that hopefully will make an impact for him in the years to come.

 Montreal

When you have Leo Carlsson as your 3C that should excite you especially when you have Tage Thompson and Macklin Celebrini as your other centers. The right side of the lineup is solid too. I’m personally not a fan of the left side but that’s just me. The Canadiens defense I think adding a top 4 d to the lineup would help a lot instead of Zadorov on the top pair. Overall, I see Canadiens making the playoffs once again.

Ottawa

By far the biggest move of the off-season belongs to the Ottawa Senators acquiring Nathan Mackinnon. It’s not every day that one of the best players in the world is put on the trade block and Steve made sure to take advantage of it and made it happen. I wouldn’t say Ottawa is the best team in the division, but they have depth and a solid d core that will help them win games the goalie duo of Vladar and Anderson will also be a key part in the success of then Sens this year. The Sens will start losing some key UFA’s in the next 3 years so the window to win is slowly closing.

Tampa Bay

Potentially the best top 6 in the DCHL. After having a disappointing season last year, the lighting made some bid moves bringing in Brady Tkachuck, Roman Josi and Mackenzie Weegar Justin wasn’t afraid to make some splashes and go all in. the only thing that might hurt his team is his goalie I’m not sure id trust Skinner in net but hey it’s the sim anything can happen.

Toronto

Well, it was a strong start to the season for the leaf’s last year then just went downhill from there and I don’t see this season being any better than last. There just isn’t a lot to look forward to this season I only see a few guys on this roster then after that it’s average. There are some nice young stars on this roster, Fantilli, Gauthier, Hutson and Clarke. Lots of work to be done here.
