The Future
10/24/2024 • Zach Brideau

With the 2024/2025 DCHL season underway lets talk about the future of the Seattle Kraken and some of the prospects they have in the system. yes we all know you guys will say oh he'll just trade them blah blah blah come up with some new material.....

Frank Nazar Drafted 12th overall in the 2022 DCHL draft. The Kraken are hoping to see Nazar make the jump to the DCHL in the 2026/2027 DCHL season and be a top 6 forward for the club. Currently playing in the AHL Nazar has 4 points in 3 games.

Cole Eisermam Drafted 17th overall in the 2023 DCHL draft plenty of gm's passed on him as he really only shows offensive skill with his elite goal scoring but still lots of work needing to be done on the defensive side, Eiserman should hopefully be with the Kraken in the 2027/2028 DCHL season and hopefully on the top line one day

Ty Nelson Drafted 47th overall in the 2022 DCHL Draft Nelson brings the offensive defencemen into the Kraken System. Nelson sure does like being in the offensive zone but sure does have a eye for the defensive side too. The Kraken hope to see Nelson join the kraken with Nazar in the 2026/2027 seson and become the top 4 defencemen that the Kraken scouts see in him.

Domenic Divincentis drafted 222nd in the 2022 DCHL draft after being the OHL goalie of the year in 2022. Injuries held Divincentis held him out of the lineup for a bit at the start of the 2023 season which hurt his chacne at playing for Team Canada at the WJ and in the 2023 OHL playoffs limiting him to only 2 playoff games but no worries there as Divincentis is projected in be one of the future goalies on the Kraken.

With 12 picks in the first 3 rounds the Kraken are setting up for the future with already of there scouts out full force and Brideau doing lots of research its going to be fun and this time is sticking with that plan yes GM's wont believe him but whatever.
