Lose Game Four, 7-1

The Arizona Coyotes were eliminated from the playoffs against the Edmonton Oilers, after being swept in the Western Conference Finals. The Oilers commanded the entirety of the game, defeating the Coyotes 7-1. Head Coach Dave Tippett was furious with the loss, having previously mentioned that this team wants pushing back hard enough. Ryan Graves had the lone goal for Arizona in the second period, assisted by Adam Lowry and Valeri Nichushkin

Despite the loss, there is promise to be taken away from these playoffs. It was the first time Arizona had made it to the Western Conference Final, and with the way the roster is built, it looks like this franchise is hoping to make this a more frequent visit. Despite his struggles, in the Conference Finals, Oettinger was given his opportunity to showcase his talents, but some are surprised that the team didn't turn to veteran Jake Allen, signaling that the team will unlikely try to pursue the free agent in July.

The Coyote's will look to build off this years success, and translate it to the 2024-25 season, where for the first time, the DCHL will have a team in Utah.
