1.)        ERIK PORTILLO (GOALIE):

2023-24 Season in the AHL:

Property of the Los Angeles Kings-> Was given a Qualifying offer on June 30 2024 and will likely play in the AHL but might challenge for the BU Spot behind Kuemper, Rittich and Copley.  Looks like based on contracts Portillo may fit into LAKs plans as a Pro BU in 2025-26.

2.)        TRISTAN LUNEAU (DEFENSE):

2023-24 Season in the NHL/AHL:

Luneau is property of the Anaheim Ducks and is signed thru 2026-27 and u got to think that he is going to get some quality ice time somewhere whether its in the AHL or NHL.  Looks to be an Offensive Defenseman.

3.)        SHAI BUIUM (DEFENSE):

2023-24 Season in the NCAA:

Buium is property of the Detroit Red Wings and is on a 3 year deal till 2026-27 and will likely get solid minutes in the AHL, based on contracts there may be 2-3 spots available on the Wings in 2025-26.

4.)        CARSON REHKOPF (CENTER/LEFT WING):

2023-24 Season in Junior:

        Carson Rehkopf is property of the Seattle Kraken and is on a 3 year deal till 2026-27 and will likely be in Junior again next season.  AHL is a likely destination in the 2025-26 season.

5.)        MATHIEU CATAFORD (RIGHT WING):

2023-24 Season in Junior:

        Mathieu Cataford is property of the Vegas Golden Knights and is on a 3 year deal till 2026-27 and will likely be in Junior again next season. AHL is a likely destination in the 2025-26 season

These are believed to be Colorado’s Top 5 prospects and are the closest players in the Pipe line to be Rated in the near future.  All have shown great strides in improving year-year and we expected them to start filling up spots in the organization in the next 2-3 seasons.
