Well boys , the long awaited start to the season is here, and what a long offseason it was. The league is buzzing , as this year turns a new leave! Congratulations to the sabres on winning the much coveted DCHL Stanley cup.

This summer has seen many things, like a widely successful draft, free agency and many many trades ( thanks zach , nathan and bob!) The trades kept what was a long summer entertaining, We have actually seen over 100 trades since July 1st. Thats just nuts.

The leafs are all set for preseason, having had to cut Zam Plante, Andrei Loshko and Emil Bemstrom, We appreciate the contributions these guys had to our club, however we need space for the newly drafted guys to grow.

The lines are set, and with 4 rookies joining our nhl team, Fantilli, Coronato, Clarke and Roy, we are looking forward to see what kind of upset we can pull.

Hot Take: Fantilli wins the Calder on a last place leafs team.

Not Take: Leafs make the playoffs .

This summer I have also been planning a podcast of sorts with another GM. There are many ideas in how we can do this, and i think we are close to having something here. Looking forward to sharing that with you.
